Fun days

Eric had crazy hair day at school. You can't tell in the pic but we shaved some parts of his hair and left some long, it was really ugly!

How silly of me not to look for my necklace in the fridge in a water bottle! Duh its right there! And yes, we use that much mayonnaise!

The kids celebrated Eric's second win in baseball with banana splits, Eric wearing the cherry on top!
On the way to pack meeting I saw and heard a semi on the other side of the freeway tip and all the lumber went sliding everywhere! I watched it just keep sliding in my rear view mirror! It was so scary looking! This is what we saw on our way home!

Avery's fabulousness! On Sunday I said, "Avery you have two seconds to get shoes on and get into the car" she came out of my room like this.
I had printed out a couple scrapbook pages and needed them to lay out a while to completely dry before putting them in my book and I said "Avery don't touch those they are not all the way dry". I walked by a few minutes later and she was just staring at them and I said "whhhhaaat are you doing?" She said "ooooohhhhhh I really need to touch them".
Yelling at Jocelyn in the bathtub Avery said "Jocelyn, you are driving my patience!"

Catching up!

* Eric hit another ball in a game and made it to first! Yah! He was so excited!

*I went a whole week without the internet and almost died!

*We went out to dinner with Stephen & Korbi and Stacy & Feliz that was way fun.

*Austin is working on his Eagle project.

* Marinda got straight A's again and is in Drama after school, they are doing, Romeo and Juliet

Easter Sunday we went to Othello and the kids had fun doing the Easter Egg Hunt. While all the cousins were playing Scott and I went to the viewing of Val Calaway, it was awesome to see his SEVEN boys and amazing wife and all the pictures of his life! Can you imagine raising 7 boys!

I stole this picture from Megan's blog

I stole this picture from Barbara's blog! She took a picture of me and Megan! It was fun to visit with the Calaway wives! They are awesome!

I found this downstairs in the desk when I was cleaning it. He draws comics in his classes at school on the teachers chalk boards each day. They are pretty funny!

Hmmmm........ I wonder if Avery Jo Ashton is left handed? (big time) Really how does she do that? EVERY letter backwards along with the whole word! ???? It looks great in the mirror! Crazy!

I found this picture at my Mother-in-laws, Scott and Austin, I love it!

WHY do Dr. apts. take so stinken long??????

My Long Lost Pics!

Spring Break 2009
For spring break we went to the cabin, long story short (the one without me telling you I told Scott not to take my pics off my card) he can't find his hard drive with all my pics on it! Luckily my br-in-law had them and gave them to me! :) Yeah! So here they all are! We went up with Todd and Dena and kids! They did a LOT of sledding! Eric & Ariana (below, Rin & Ariana)

Me and My Sister-in-law Dena

Avery and Ellie

Eric & McKenna, the inseparable cousins who are 3 days apart in age.

On your birthday today Jacksen, we are thinking of you and those 16 years of memories we will always cherish! We miss you & we love you!

Eric's first hit!

Eric has had the hardest time at games. He gets too nervous and hasn't been that excited to play them (3 games a week!). Practices he does great but all last year and so far this year he hadn't ever hit a ball in a game! At their age, the pitchers aren't the best and they get to run the bases a lot because of balls but he has really wanted that first hit! So today was the day! Even when he hit it right to first base and they got him out, everyone on his team and in the stands cheered anyways because everyone has known how bad he just wanted to get a HIT! It was so exciting! It changed his whole attitude about baseball games! :)

Today he was quite the little base stealer too! His coach always tells me how stinken fast he is and we love watching him zoom around the bases. Today he got four balls and got to walk to first and then stole 2nd & 3rd and then stole home when there wasn't enough time! All the kids in the dugout cheered so loud and his coach said "Now there is the Eric from practice!"
