Flower girls, ring bearer, & hospitals!

Patrick & Britney's wedding was fabulous!  The girls and Eric were so cute and did their job so well!

Jimbo and Mary came from CA and were super sad that Dad was sick.  The day of rehearsal and the barbq at the park my Dad went into hospital (finally) after feeling horrible for weeks.  He has to get his gallbladder out, they ended up taking him to Tricities in the ambulance so they could do it in a bigger hospital.  He told us all to not worry about him and have a wonderful weekend wedding!  They are doing it on Monday.

Marinda was excited to be in charge of the guest book.

Eric Turns PG13

3 Teenagers in the house!  Yikes.....
Tiny baby Eric is now 13!  We have a rule in our house you can't watch PG13 movies until you are 13..... not that any PG13 movie is appropriate (I think) but we let them watch a few select ones with Austin fast forwarding the bad spots.  But even better than all that, Eric is excited to be only one year from getting to go to dances AND 2 years from getting his drivers permit.......  Slow down Eric!
I can't remember the last time I bought a cake, my 89 cent box cake and homemade frosting are all we ever have!  Eric requested an ice cream cake and I was shocked when saw they are $30!!!!!  That is crazy!  I guess I will have to find some good recipe's for ice cream cakes.....
Eric has really grown up the last few years!  He takes over Austin's roll at helping out when Austin is gone.  He is so easy going and fun to be around.  He has decided he doesn't like being labeled "the wild crazy one" and doesn't want to break any more bones.  He has enough scars to pass off the "chicks dig scares" list and wants to be known more for how hard he works and his great personality.  So try to not just notice his adorable smile, dimples, and JB hair and try to see the great kid within.  :)

On Father's Day we went to visit our old neighbors Pat & Daryl.  (Pat was sleeping) We got to sit and visit, we miss them across the street from us helping keep an eye on our kids!  They always knew when Scott, me, and the kids would come and go and everything we were doing.  He took good care of us!
The kids wanted to rein-act the picture they took 6 years ago.

They are so silly!  Avery kept laughing, it was hard to pretend to sleep!  Happy Father's Day Scott!!!!!  He thought he was funny to have the book upside down.

Graduating Middle School

Marinda graduated Thurs. night from McLoughlin.  All the kids get so emotional as half will be going to Pasco and half to Chiawana.

She looks so tall, no more high heels for her.
When she was in elementary school and 6th grade here she would go help with the special ed kids.  They were excited when she came back, some of them gave her a high five as she walked back to her seat.

Friday morning we went to Othello's graduation.  She was sad to not walk with her 2 cousins and lots of friends since she went to most of 7th and 8th grade with them.  They were all so sweet and excited to see her so it was a lot of fun.  AND she got to go to their pool party afterwards!

June

The girls LOVE crazy hair day!
Marinda has loved treble choir this last quarter.  They chartered a couple busses for all the band and choir kids for a trip to Seattle to the zoo and flight museum.  They had a lot of fun!
Avery had her "A-Z Does It" play at school.  All the little first graders look so cute!
Rachel was there, she cut all her hair off..... by HERSELF!  Crazy girl, and dyed it from blonde to red!  Teenagers.....
 The girls and Ryan
Avery and her teacher, Mrs. Salisbury, who is the youngest Salisbury's (Jason) wife.
Rochelle, Callie, and Chance flew in Thurs. night so we went to the airport to get them to spend the night!  The kids were THRILLED!!!!  We have missed them!
We went to Othello for Taryn & Jessica's graduation, the girls were not very interested in the speeches.
 Chance with Jessica's cap on.
Then Saturday we went to fun graduation parties!  Torrescano's had the taco guy come..... WOW it was SO yummy!!!
We went to the Moon's and Norr's barbq.  It was so crazy to watch all these Mom's with graduating babies, makes me glad Austin stayed back a year and will only be a Junior next year..... still too close to graduation!
It's so fun to get together with our old ward!

Scott is Amazing!

I keep hearing all these wonderful things about Scott.  Everyone always LOVES him!  I used to think that I was awesome as a Mom and Wife but I really think Scott is WAY better than me!  Long ago he was always gone and I did everything (it felt like) I would think, Im the one who raised these kids.  Sometimes when mad that Scott would be off on another boy trip, and someone would compliment one of my kids, I would think (no thanks to you Dear).  But now when I hear things people say about my kids, its all of his good qualities, not mine!  Things I have been hearing people say are; he is just the nicest guy I have ever met, he is so helpful and kind, I have never heard him talk bad about anyone, he is such a great example to young kids.  ...... I think WOW, Im the whiney, naggy, complainer that I see in my kids' bad habits, why are they taking my bad and his good?!!!  So not fair!  There are definitely things about Scott that drive people crazy, we all have our weekness's and strengths but I can definitely see that I owe Scott much more credit!  He is the best Dad and example to my kids.  I need to remember to tell him that more often.  And as a boyfriend he is totally Boss!  (I heard that on a movie and it sounded cool).
