Spring Break!

Last day of school before spring break they had a jogathon at school.  Jocelyn signed up to earn money for every lap she ran, it didn't stop the kids when it was pouring rain outside.  Scott went and helped and was so impressed with Jocelyn's 13 laps!
Spring break started off right with conference weekend!  I was at school saturday and missed both sessions but we LOVED Sunday!  Went to the Moon's for morning conference and then watched afternoons at home.  Here is some of the girls m&m art they made.
I only had Monday off, the rest of the week the kids slept in and did jobs and then we would go play when I got home at 2:30.  This creation is one of the many I found during the boring hours of being stuck in the house while I was at school and the big kids were being lazy.  Poor girls.  They said it wasn't bad, but it was very hard to not be here all week while they all were.  :(

One day after school we went roller skating.
Scott and the kids doing the hokey pokey.
Playing at Howard Amon Park, brrrr.

On my one Monday off we had gone to Mattawa to see Irma.  She has been in Seattle for a couple months, she was having a procedure done and ended up having a stroke and having to stay in the hospital longer than she hoped.  She just got back to Sheri's house and was looking and feeling great!  We sure have missed her!
Marinda and Ruby making us cookies, I had to laugh when I saw this, reminded me of the pic that says "Mormons, say what you want, they make awesome cookies".
 Coloring eggs.
Ready for church.
Easter Sunday we got to spend in Othello, we went to my parents house, I cut my Dad's hair (so exciting, my second boy's cut) and the kids had fun hiding eggs in the park.  Suzy and boys came for a visit, it was great.
Then we went to Scott's parents, celebrated April Bdays and had another egg hunt.

In hair news:
Had our 3rd assembly and I received (yet again) (not to brag) (ok to brag a little) the SUPERSTAR award!  And perfect attendance.  We are on our 3rd & 4th dolls and they are becoming shorter quicker than our first two.  It is SO fun, the cuts seem easier and Im understanding them and enjoying doing even the hard ones.  YAY.  And Im wearing sequin pants.....because I love sparkles.
I highlighted Rin's hair and gave her bangs, which she pins back and doesn't like.  But they look cute.  They are side bangs or front bangs so she will just slide them to the side in a week when they are a little longer.
Kylie, my only happy customer so far, gave her highlights and cut like FOUR inches off her hair.  She is gorgeous!
Gave Nicki some purple hair, (it's burgundy but she said it was purple) I told her it matches her Pasco pride GO BULLDOGS!  But I don't think she was convinced.  :)  After a few clarifying shampoo's most of the bright color is gone and she might let me do her hair again..... one day...... after I graduate.... maybe.  :)

End of March

The girls and Eric on a Saturday with Dad while I was at school and the big two were at the play.

A fun night for Taryn's 19th bday party at Famous Dave's.

My Sweet Grandma turned 91!  I remember last year when I was at her house she told me that she would like to go to heaven now but God still has a few things he needs to teach her first before she can go.  I love looking at pictures and watching video of her from when we were there.  I can hear her giggle when I see this picture.  Happy Birthday Grandma Bean!
