 Scott surprised me!  He took me to Red Robin where everyone was waiting for me.  It was so exciting, I had no idea and was very impressed with his and Suzy's secret keeping skills.  It was a fun night.

 Marinda and Ashtyn are ridiculous.  We are going to miss these guys when they move to England!

Avery asked, "When we move into a house can we get a platypus?"
Mom:  No
Avery:  Why not?
Marinda:  Because platypus' have poison in their beaks.... duh.

One morning as I was leaving for school and the girls were heading for the bus Jocelyn yells back, "Have a great day at school, remember to be a good example".

 

Marinda got her permit.  When Austin got his I let him drive home (from Moses).  I didn't let Marinda drive ..... Im so scared for her to learn here in Tricities.  She might have to stay in Othello for a few months while she learns.

 Austin's teacher entered this digital picture and a drawn one he made into a contest.  He won first place in the digital art category and won $75!.  He didn't win in the drawn category but one of the judges asked his teacher if he could buy it .... He didn't have Austin's number and couldn't ask him.  He was so excited though!  He said "See Mom I told you I can just live off selling my art, and you always lecture me about having a back up plan to pay the bills".  Grrrreeeaaatttt.  Im such a dream crusher.

Cosmetology

 It's almost been a month, Im having SO much fun!  I can't believe how much they teach so quickly.  And I can't believe just by holding your wrist a certain way and knowing angles and sections can make it all doable!  I was worried that you couldn't teach old dogs new tricks but I am learning SO much!  It takes a lot of work but it's so stinkin fun!  AND not to brag but Im getting 100% on all my tests and assignments on the three chapters we have been through.  Yay!  Hurray!  Yipee
This pic was second day of class, learning to master the Marcel curling iron..... it was hard but fun.  Im glad she doesn't have a body because I would have burnt her dropping the iron a few times.  :) 

 Me and Jalyn, she is in the class 4 months ahead of me.  She is super fun.  Someone said "that stinks you have to be in school all day Saturday it must be horrible"...... I had gotten a scalp treatment that day and was thinking it wasn't too bad.  I felt a little guilty. I hope it takes a while before it feels horrible. 

 

My first hair cut with long layers.

 I have done 4 haircuts now....  I can totally do a cut with long layers on anyone.... it will only take me 4-6 hours.  :) 

 Me and Kamilah, we had a horrible day this day ....  we got facials...   hehehehheee.

 Foiling.  Again, I could do this but all your hair would fall out from the bleach sitting on it for the 3 hours it would take me to section it out.  :) 

 This is my snooty patooty manikin, I hate french rolls but she loves them. 

 We gave and got manicures today..... super fun.
 

 

This was probably the hardest, we have done 3 perms wraps already, the boom, the candlestick, and the regular one but this one is with the Marcel curler.  I had to curl and then wrap each of these by hand!  It was hard.... Anyways it's what mature (little old) ladies get when they come in, then you brush it out and rat it and it looks like this.....  (usually theirs is shorter)

And lasts all week until they come again. 

January

 Austin got asked to Sadies.  He is still enjoying play practice IMMENSELY! 

 Eric went archery shooting for mutual.  He came home and pretended to be hurt but it's actually what you wear to protect yourself, it wasn't funny.

 This is what the girls did on one of my Saturdays I was at school.  They got clay and worked on this family of penguins until I got home.  Another one of the days they did this with Dad....


They came to my school and got their hair washed and styled and then went shopping at the mall and tried on tonz of clothes.  They were in heaven. 

 

And Scott got a scalp treatment.

 Jocelyn is adorable. 

Brandon came and talked all about Yazzy his snake to my scouts.... they LOVED it.  I have never seen them sit so still while someone was talking!
