We allowed Rin to turn 16. Not really but she did it anyway.
She went on a date with Jory, it was both their first dates. It was Wed. night so they went out to eat after mutual..... with Austin & Sam.... heehehehee at least Scott, me, Nicki, and Jory didn't go. That was our first idea that they didn't like.
Before the dance that weekend some girls came over before and had cake with her and Scott got her a phone, she LOVES it. I can't wait to ground her from it.
The girls keep catching lizards. They were catching a bunch of bugs and playing with creepy crawly things all day the other day and then Avery ended up in our bed that night and kept screaming out about bugs getting her, I used to do that with ants when I was little so I thought it was funny.
I got my man doll at school, Im so proud that I have made it half way through summer! I told the kids at the start that if they started to fall apart I would take a month off and then just push my graduation date back a month. We decided we would just take it one day at a time. The only 3 days I have needed a sitter (while Rin was at girl's camp, Eric at band) it happened to rain and Austin was home from work. Suzy also took them one day to paint at her house and be all crafty, which they LOVED! So far so good, everything keeps falling into place and working out so that I can keep going and not miss..... so far....
The kids love to put my manikins in funny places and scare the gageebers out of me, it was funny to hear Scott scream like a girl when he got home and went upstairs.
I love this pic, we get tired sometimes at school.... One more month and we can say we are half way done, we are getting the middle of the journey blues that is for sure! We just moved up again and Im now on the floor 4 days a week. I do a lot of things I didn't think I could. Im learning so much each day and getting more and more confident with each haircut. My kids are happy that the haircuts I give them are getting better also! :)
Eric has left us and moved in with Scott's brother Joel & Mic in Idaho, he is supposed to be weeding and picking rocks and working like a slave but the pictures we keep getting say otherwise! He is having a lot of fun!!! They will bring him home at the reunion in August, if I can go that long without him, I might have to sneak down there and pick him up early!
Austin is gone on and off in Oregon working. He really enjoys the apt. with the guys and feels very grown up and independent. We will see if that is a good or bad thing come school senior year and 18th bday time....... Yikes.
Scott has been a tiny bit slow on the grass planting. He moves some dirt, looks at it for a few days, then moves it again..... repeat, repeat, repeat. I know he just likes to play in the tractor and comes in each night so happy, so I won't complain.
Austin and Caleb went out during one of the storms and would laugh when they were right on. They would lift their swords and the lighting would strike at that moment. They are pretty sure they rule the universe.
