My Grandma is the cutest. My Mom's youngest brother passed away from cancer, he lived with my Grandma and they took care of each other. She hardly left the house because she didn't like to leave him home alone. After he passed they had the hurricane there in New York and so she went to stay at my cousin Christie's with my Aunt and some of the family that were there for Frankie's funeral. She got on facebook on the computer and was having fun looking at all of our pictures. Christie commented that she was on, so we all started talking to her through fb and she was so excited that we could type right then and she would get it. So my kids wrote her a note and took a picture of them with it and we posted it, and we were so excited when she posted one right back. She passed away a few weeks later. Im so glad my big three kids got to meet her, I wish Joc and Avery could have. All the years growing up she was sad to not have us close, she would send us tapes of her reading to us and telling us stories so we would know what she sounded like. I only got to see her four times in my life and most of my memories of her are the summer we spent there when I was little. I love to hear the stories of her from my cousins in New York, what an amazing Grandma I had. . I feel so bad for all the family she left behind that were so close to her in NY, but Im so happy she is now healthy and happy with my Grandpa and Uncle Frank in heaven.
